Juan Peron and his time in Power



Juan Peron was politician and also a Argentine military officer. After he served in several government positions, including Minister of Labor and Vice President of the Republic, he was elected 3 times as President of Argentina and served from June of 1946, to September 1955.




During his first term, Peron was supported by his second wife, Eva Duarte, and the two were very popular among the Argentines. She died in 1952, and he was elected for a second term. He was exiled during the following period of two military dictatorships. He was elected for a third time with his third wife, Maria Estela Martinez to be voted Vice President on his ticket until his death.
